It feels like the next few years will test judgment more than access to information. When multiple strong signals start pointing in different directions at the same time, how do you decide which ones deserve conviction and which ones are just noise that look convincing in isolation?

re storytelling, distribution and attention, I'd point you to Manu Joseph's recent piece which does a good job articulating why this idea that 'attention spans are contracting' isn't what it's cracked up to be (TLDR: the bar for winning attention is higher than it's ever been, but there will always be room for quality):
Thanks for pointing me towards Manu's substack, have read one of his books earlier and stumbled upon his substack courtesy the above. Just to further your point above, the solution to build a loyal reader base counterintuitively is to make content frequency scarce but long form, its a bit like what a movie does vs short form sitcoms. I wonder who else does this :)
